Who am I?
Allow me to begin by establishing the foundation for the man you see before you. I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. Some refer to it as the BOOGIE DOWN. Others refer to it as where hip hop and break dancing began. Born in the 70’s and raised in the 80’s granted me the many unique experiences of staple clothing and music that would forever mold my ears as well as soothe the soul.
Challenges ranged from commuting long ways for school, family and leisure meanwhile making my way through the zombie infested streets of New York City during the crack epidemic which hit the neighborhoods like a tsunami. Fortunately, I was blessed with a woman that would be my compass to get me through and way past the everyday obstacles. Â She is and always shall be my universe therefore Mother is the name for God in my eyes.
Life could have turned a hard left had it not been for the interest and enlistment in the New York Marine cadet program, again thanks to my mother. That lead to my desire to serve in the United States Army. I didn’t know that would set me and my mother up for a future unimaginable here in Louisiana and I’ll talk more about that later.
I’m now a proud father and knight of service to a young king that keeps me reminded of all my blessings, my son.
Over the years I’ve accumulated many titles during various employments but after contemplation I’ve come to realize that my true profession was the pursuit of self-mastery as well as fatherhood. I say pursuit because it’s a forever achievement. When I have passed is when I will have mastered it so until then, I will work on bettering myself every chance I get to start a new.
I’m lucky to have had the opportunity to have a place where I can build a platform by doing what I love. From a young age I’ve been creative, artistic, focused, and goal driven. When I had a vision for my creative future, I decided to make it happen. With experience in the academic and professional setting, I’ve now been fortunate enough to settle down in Louisiana.
I’m thrilled to say that I’ve learned from so many varied encounters with the assistance of some intriguing people, but I know that I still have so much to learn from many others in the struggle called life. I’m a hard worker, a team player and excited to see what projects could benefit from my unique skill set. I’d love to chat with you about how we might work together in the future so please review the rest of my webpage and see if there’s something that inspires you and we can explore it in detail together.
